The AI Agents team is a key part of our broader Platform Engineering division focused on creating innovative solutions that empower our customers to design and deploy intelligent agents tailored to automate their unique tasks and workflows. Our product provides the capabilities for users to seamlessly define and configure AI agents that can operate autonomously driving efficiency and optimizing processes across industries.

What you get to do in this role:
- Youll use ServiceNow platform to develop AI Agents for customers
- Help develop features to allow our platform the ability to add AI Agent functionalities
- Build high-quality clean scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews Unit testing etc.)
- Partner closely with engineer peers to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design implementation test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
- Collaborate with experienced engineering team members that learn from one another and drives each other to success.
- Youll help Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality and deliver an amazing product that delights end users
Qualifications :
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AIs potential impact on the function or industry.
- Experience in using AI Productivity tools such as Windsurf Cursor etc. is a plus to have
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of software development enterprise experience using Java and JavaScript
- Fluency with JavaScript React HTML and CSS or similar technologies
- Experience designing implementing and maintaining frontend and backend architectures
- Experience with table schemas relational and non-relational databases
- Experience working in an iterative and agile development environment
- Working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE debugger build tools source control ServiceNow instances profilers system administration/Unix tools)
- Ability to understand and distill complex problems into elegant informed solutions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional and multi-disciplined teams
Nice to have:
- Passion for AI and cutting-edge technologies
- Knowledge or experience working with of AI agents
- Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like React or Vue

For positions in this location we offer a base pay of $111200 - $172400 plus equity (when applicable) variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location. We also offer health plans including flexible spending accounts a 401(k) Plan with company match ESPP matching donations a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
