Woodston Personnel are seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Pediatric Infectious Diseases to join the pediatric department of a leading hospital in Saudi Arabia. The role involves diagnosing treating and managing complex infectious diseases in infants children and adolescents including rare or resistant infections and contributing to infection prevention education and research within the hospital.
Duties and Responsbilities
Provide expert consultation and care in the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases affecting neonates infants and children
Develop and implement treatment plans for complex and immunocompromised patients with infectious conditions
Guide antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention initiatives in coordination with the hospitals infection control team
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians intensivists microbiologists and public health personnel
Participate in the planning and delivery of immunization programs and outbreak response strategies
Supervise and teach medical students residents and fellows in pediatric infectious diseases
Engage in quality improvement clinical audit and research activities related to pediatric infectious diseases
Support the hospitals infection surveillance and control policies
Attend and participate in departmental meetings case reviews and continuous education programs

Skills and Competencies
Strong clinical expertise in managing a wide range of pediatric infectious diseases including tropical and travelrelated infections
Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills
Uptodate knowledge of international guidelines on infection control and antimicrobial resistance
Effective communication and collaboration in a multicultural medical environment
Commitment to evidencebased care professional development and patient safety
Full time contracts with excellent renumeration and benefits available

Valid and current medical license or eligibility for licensure in Saudi Arabia
MUST HAVE postgraduate qualification specialist training as follows: American Board (US) FRCS (Irish UK Canadian Australian or New Zealand) Diplme dtudes Spcialises (DES) / CIS French Board Facharzt (Germany or equivalent) with recognised Subspecialty Certification Accredited Fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Minimum 3 4 years postboard/fellowship experience as a Consultant in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Excellent clinical/ technical skills in his/ her specialty.
Knowledge of Arabic.
