Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Needham MA 02494.
Job Details:
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1000 - $1080
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: Day Shift(8) - 8:00 start
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient intake including rooming patients measuring vital signs and recording medical histories
- Administer EKGs and assist with basic procedures as directed by providers
- Complete prior authorizations for medications and treatments
- Provide patient education and instruction as directed by providers
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
- Handle administrative duties such as answering phones scheduling and managing messages
- Maintain exam rooms stock medical supplies and ensure a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certification - REQUIRED
- 1-2 years of recent experience as a CMA (2024- 2025) - REQUIRED
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer skills
