Job Description
- Start Date: ASAP STARTS ONLY!
- Shift: 12 hour Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 - $2340
- Provide nursing care for long-term care and post-acute rehab patients.
- Supervise and oversee patient care ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Monitor and manage chronic illnesses dementia care and post-op recovery.
- Conduct assessments and administer medications IVs PICCs ports tube feeds and neb treatments.
- Handle acute changes including falls emergency assessments and necessary transfers to the ER.
- Perform wound care head-to-toe assessments and collaborate with physicians for treatment plans.
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs ensuring quality patient care.
- No admissions past 3 PM.
- License: Active RN license in New York (NY).
- Certification: BLS certification (required).
- Experience: 1 years of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Post-Acute Rehab setting.
- Skills: Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills ability to work independently experience with chronic illness management and knowledge of dementia care.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
