Service Setting: OutpatientInfusion Center
Coverage Type: Clinical Only
Coverage Period: 07/01/2025 12/31/2025
Clinical Shift Schedule: MonFri; 8a5p
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Adult Hematology/Oncology patients
Case Mix: Malignant and benign hematology and oncology patients
FACILITY INFORMATION
Office Equipment Available: Standard infusion clinic and Hem/Onc practice
Specialty Backup Available: Onsite Hem/Onc physicians
Support Staff Available: Infusion and clinic support team
Reason for Coverage: Locum coverage for clinical services
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: Not specified
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Rate: TBD
Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance covered
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Hematology/Oncology patient assessments and followup
Independent management of benign hematology cases preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Connecticut license
Experience: Hematology Oncology experience required; must be comfortable with outpatient infusion care
Other Qualifications: Strong preference for APPs who can manage benign hematology independently
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct patient care to Hem/Onc patients in an outpatient setting
Independently manage benign hematology cases if qualified
Collaborate with supervising physicians and infusion center staff
Document clinical care per facility standards
Deliver consistent weekday coverage with no weekends or holiday expectations
