Job Description
Our Client is one of the leading brands in the Quick Service Restaurant Industry in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a Business Analyst.
Location: Lagos
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting datadriven decisionmaking across the QSR chain by analyzing sales operations marketing and customer data. This role identifies trends uncovers opportunities for growth and efficiency and provides actionable insights to management for strategic planning and operational improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect analyze and interpret data from multiple sources including POS systems CRM tools inventory software and digital marketing platforms.
- Develop dashboards and regular performance reports for sales customer behavior store operations and marketing campaigns.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per outlet average ticket size labor costs food costs delivery trends and campaign ROI.
- Analyze outlets/storelevel and regional performance to identify underperforming outlets and recommend solutions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with historical data trends and predictive models.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures.
- Analyze customer behavior loyalty program performance and feedback data to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market trend analysis to support strategic planning.
- Support new project initiatives such as menu changes pricing strategy store expansion or new technology rollouts.
- Prepare business cases and feasibility studies including ROI calculations and breakeven analysis.
- Work closely with departments including Operations Finance Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on insights and recommendations.
- Present data findings and actionable insights in clear visual formats for executive leadership.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Economics Finance Statistics or a related field.
- 2 4 years of experience in a business analysis strategy or financial planning role; experience in QSR retail or FMCG is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Python) is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to translate data into business insights and strategic recommendations.
