Job Description
Title: Mainframe Developer
Location: Wilmington Delaware
Duration: Long Term
Position #: 20
Key responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining applications for mainframe systems.
Writing code testing it and working with other developers to ensure proper functioning.
Utilizing technologies like COBOL IMS and DB2.
Design development and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product application or system.
Possible work with CICS web services and Rest API.
Knowledge in Mainframe utilities such as FileAid Expeditor SORT REXX and SAS.
Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus.
To be successful in these roles candidates may need:
Experience with mainframe systems and related technologies.
Skills in programming languages like COBOL and potentially other languages like Python Java or Unix Shell Scripting.
Knowledge of mainframe utilities and systems.
Experience with databases like DB2 and IMS.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
