We are seeking a Defence Product Specialist to lead the management of productrelated technical documentation and compliance processes. This role is central to maintaining the integrity of product data used in Defence supply contracts and plays a key part in procurement delivery and sustainment activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain technical documentation including drawings specifications and Technical Data Sheets (TDS)
- Track engineering changes and maintain accurate product configuration records
- Work closely with procurement and project teams to provide technical input and support
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure compliance correct materials usage and certification standards
- Contribute technical content to Defence tenders and submissions
- Ensure all documentation aligns with security quality and compliance standards (DISP DEC ISO)
- Support audit processes and respond to technical queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate version control of files and product data
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned product categories or systems
- Champion continuous improvement in data management and configuration practices
Qualifications :
Key Qualities & Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering Technical Design Logistics or a related field
- 35 years in technical product support or procurementrelated roles
- Familiarity with Defence documentation systems and compliance frameworks (desirable)
- Experience working with BOMs drawings and change/configuration tracking
- Exposure to Defence or other highly regulated industries
- Strong understanding of technical compliance standards (e.g. ISO ITAR DSGL)
- Excellent technical communication and documentation skills
- High attention to detail and quality control
- Strong problemsolving ability and process orientation
- Skilled in data and document management systems
- Understanding of Defence compliance and reporting processes
