Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the Accounts Payable Team Staff Accountant Team and Revenue Team
- General Ledger Management:
- Oversee general ledger activities account reconciliations journal entries and month end close
- Ensure the accuracy of the accounting data and make necessary corrections as required
- Financial Reporting and Reconciliations:
- Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual reports
- Monitor variance reports to analyze income/expenses ensuring accurate reporting
- Review monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Other Duties:
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Continuous review and improvements of processes and procedures
- Special projects as assigned
- Collaborate with Central and Campus teams to streamline processes and ensure information is timely and accurate
Qualifications :
Key Competencies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Masters or CPA preferred)
- 5 years of accounting experience preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment
- Advanced excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
