Job Description

Primary Duties (70%)

  • Perform Functional Test Procedures (FTP) preflight postflight and daily inspections on completed aircraft
  • Troubleshoot rig repair and replace aircraft systems including landing gear flight controls hydraulics pneumatics engines antiicing ventilation and fuel systems
  • Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities per technical documentation
  • Perform postdock maintenance safety checks and final readiness inspections
  • Document work in compliance with company procedures and aviation standards
  • Operate ground support equipment including tow bars hydraulic carts refuel/defuel systems jacks and lifts

Technical Proficiency & Team Contribution (20%)

  • Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals (AMM IPC CMM SB FTP)
  • Use test equipment torque wrenches calipers and powered/nonpowered tools
  • Perform sealing operations and apply knowledge of sealant characteristics and techniques
  • Adhere to Airbus safety policies OSHA standards and use of PPE
  • Participate in root cause analysis 5S FOD control and daily SQCDP meetings
  • Mentor and support fellow technicians sharing technical knowledge and best practices

Other Duties (10%)

  • Support confined space and highaccess work
  • Coordinate with team leads regarding schedules supplies and tools
  • Operate equipment such as cranes forklifts cherry pickers and lifting platforms
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support flightline operations

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance or manufacturing
  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Must be eligible for international travel (valid passport or ability to obtain one)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of flightline experience under FAA EASA or TCCA regulations
  • Vocational or technical training in aircraft maintenance
  • Experience in an OEM or repair station environment
