Job Description

Join Nines Broadcast Technology Support team in Melbourne as a pivotal Systems Engineer where your expertise will help ensure the seamless delivery of live News and Sports productions. 

Youll work alongside a driven and collaborative team taking ownership of the design implementation maintenance and lifecycle management of essential broadcast systems and services.

This role operates on a 7day rotating roster supporting key stakeholders across a dynamic fastpaced environment.

Day to day you will:

  • Provide support to all stakeholders reliant on Broadcast Technology systems and services.
  • Prioritise support whilst contributing to new projects and R&D.
  • Lead endtoend delivery and support of broadcast systems.
  • Oversee system issues service requests upgrades and changes.
  • Collaborate to refine workflows and adapt systems to meet business objectives.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation and user training.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor for team members and stakeholders.
  • Offer flexible support including outofhours weekend and oncall availability as required.
  • Expertise in Newsroom and PostProduction AVID PAM Systems EVS Record and Playback Systems Viz Graphics Mosart Automation VSM Studio Control Systems and Ross Routers & GVG Switchers.
     

Qualifications :

What youll bring: 

  • A technical degree or equivalent handson experience in broadcast and production environments.
  • Proven expertise with a wide range of broadcast software and hardware.
  • Indepth understanding of broadcast workflows and enduser requirements.
  • A passion for delivering reliable effective technical solutions.
  • A customerfocused mindset with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Solid experience supporting broadcast and production systems.
  • Strong ability to selfmanage prioritise tasks and produce clear technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server OS endpoint management domain infrastructure and Active Directory.
