Collins Aerospace is seeking aSATCOM Technician to work onsite in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Primary Responsibilities:

The SATCOM Technician will be part of a team that provides technicalservicessupport;responsiblefor operating maintaining monitoring troubleshooting and repair of Satellite Terminal systems including connectivity to local and wide area networks endto end telecommunications circuit switching systems. The SATCOM will analyze capabilities and performance identifies problems takes corrective actions to ensure the most efficient operations of the SATCOM equipment and monitor status and performance of Transmission/Receive systems. Theindividualwill quicklyrespondto circuit outages and coordinates with distant end facilities and local Systems/Users when necessary in order to restorecommunicationsserviceswhile performing other duties and assignments as desired.

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

• Experience in signal flow and endtoend configuration diagrams for circuits; SATCOM principles operations maintenance and repair; utilizing common SATCOM test equipment; and familiarity with CISCO routers.
• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Must meet and be current with DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification requirements (Security CE CySA GICSP GSEC SSCP CCNA Security).
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance and SCI eligibility after start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Requires 24x7 shift work (candidate will be assigned to a shift to bedeterminedby mission requirements).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior military satellitecommunicationstechnician with experience hardening maintenance and hardening testing experience.
• A mix of strategic and tactical satellitecommunicationsexperience.
• CCNA certification.
• Basic Linux or RedHatbased server administration experience.
• Basic experience with operations preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on generators.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
