Bilingual HR Professional

Rate: $80100K
Hours: 8am5pm
Cincinnati OH
The Human Resource Generalist will provide support in the development and application of HR Strategies and will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment which fosters employee engagement team collaboration and business growth. This position will develop and execute best practices in all areas of HR including recruitment onboarding policy administration compensation and benefit administration payroll performance management and maintaining legal and regulatory compliance in all HR related functions.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this role is recruiting.
- Recruits screens coordinates interviewing conducts background checks and ensures legal compliance for all employment practices.
- Coordinates new employee onboarding process.
- Conducts employee exit interviews.
- Administers legal compliance with all Federal and State Requirements including FMLA Equal Employment Opportunity ADAAA Military Leave and others as applicable.
- Communicates and ensures compliance with company policies.
- Responds to employee complaints participates in internal investigations and recommends appropriate corrective actions.
- Coach supervisors and managers regarding employee performance and disciplinary matters.
- Conducts or coordinates regular employee and supervisory training in interviewing hiring terminations promotions performance reviews safety sexual harassment and other applicable HR topics.
- Maintains confidential employee records and confidentiality of employee matters.
- Manage the companys HRIS/payroll system.
- Manage administrative duties related to full cycle payroll processing reporting taxes and the like.
- Manage endtoend weekly payroll processing in compliance with local regulations tax laws and company policies.
- Manufacturing and office environment. Exposure to noise fumes and dust while in manufacturing facilities.
- Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor degree in human resources management business management business administration or combination of experience and education or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years demonstrated experience in managing HR systems with a focus on recruiting.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity ethical practices as well as efficiency and cost management.
- Ability to maintain business and individual confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to listen to issues and handle critical situations with composure discretion and good judgment and professionalism.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office) including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Training and/or Lean experience preferred.
- PHR SHRMCP preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Team oriented.
- Considerable skill in interviewing techniques.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
