Join us on our journey atEntrix: We are looking for a driven (Senior) Cloud Engineer AWS Specialist (d/f/m) to design build and scale our AWS-native IT architecture. Your technical expertise in real-time AWS services and your ambition to make an impact will be crucial as we build an industry-leading platform for energy system optimization. You will play a key role in critical infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with stringent security and operational standards. - Employment Type: Full-Time indefinite term
- Salary Range: 75.000 - 115.000 per year gross depending on the seniority level
- Office-first work setup
- Language Requirement: C1 Level English
Your Responsibilities
- Build and lead the development of a fully AWS-native IT architecture from conceptualization to production ensuring reliability scalability and security.
- Contribute to software engineering tasks by collaborating with the software team offering guidance on cloud-related challenges and enhancing code quality with cloud-native best practices.
- Design implement and operate infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to ensure rapid deployment and minimal downtime.
- Take charge of the end-to-end architecture for the entire platform from data ingestion to data processing system control and user interface layers.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and critical infrastructure requirements to maintain operational integrity and security.
- Enhance system efficiency by introducing best-in-class monitoring alerting and observability solutions.
- Work closely with product managers data engineers and software developers to deeply understand business and technical requirements and design scalable cloud-optimized solutions that address those needs efficiently.
- Take initiative and think ahead to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in system performance and architecture.

- 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms building and managing infrastructure at scale.
- Experience in software engineering especially in programming and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Strong knowledge and experience with AWS services like API Gateway DynamoDB Lambda IAM ECS EKS and CloudFormation.
- Experience in supporting containerized applications microservices architectures orchestration and deployment
- Experience in designing and managing end-to-end IT architectures for production environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in creating and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code using e.g. Terraform Pulumi or CDK;
- Proven track record of delivering results in dynamic fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a proactive mindset.
- Experience configuring and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions such as Grafana or Prometheus;
- Experience collaborating with product managers software engineers and operations teams to ensure cloud architecture aligns with business needs.
- Experience in the energy sector.
