Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and overseeing financial accounting driving business growth and monitoring business performance
- Finance governance and monitoring
- Driving continuous improvement in the finance function
- Working capital management: Debtor management supplier relationships with key suppliers (maintained) and timely payments and stock management
- Yearly financial audits and tax and deferred tax calculations
- Driving and managing the preparation of the budgets and forecasts including timely submission to group
- Reviewing and signing off on biweekly/monthly payroll reports
- Ensuring statutory compliance
- Understanding and providing insights into manufacturing and product costing
- Facilitating the import process
Skills and Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting Degree
- 5 years of commercial experience
- 2 years of management experience
