Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer to develop program and optimize CNC machining operations for precision components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining NC programming and process improvement in a highprecision closetolerance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs using CAM software for complex parts.
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications.
Design and implement tooling fixturing and gauging for new and existing products.
Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time improve quality and minimize scrap.
Perform rootcause analysis and corrective actions for machining issues.
Provide training and support to machine operators during program proveout and setup.
Maintain uptodate documentation including setup sheets tool lists and process instructions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of CNC programming and machining experience.
Proficient in Gcode and CAM software (e.g. Mastercam Siemens NX Fusion 360).
Strong understanding of GD&T blueprint reading and close tolerance machining (0.0005).
Handson experience with CNC lathes mills and grinders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
