Job Summary:
Essential job functions:
- Source vendors of material equipment or supplies determine product availability lead times pricing and payment terms
- Prepare and process purchase orders for material equipment and supplies
- Review purchase order claims for conformance to company policy
- Work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues with the suppliers
- Resolve delivery/material issues with the suppliers
- Ensure ontime delivery from all suppliers
Marginal job functions:
- Direct and coordinate activities of buying and distributing material equipment machinery and supplies
- Administer online purchasing systems
- Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge skills and abilities
- Prior Purchasing experience is preferred
- Experience in a fastpaced production environment is a plus
- Familiarity with purchasing components production processes quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Ability to communicate with supervisors peers and subordinates by telephone email or in person
- Ability to meet or exceed deadlines
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency are critical

Hours: MonFri 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Week: 40 Hours Lunch: 1 hour
