Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic C Software Engineer to help us develop high performance crossplatform spatial analysis and visualization capabilities for mobile and desktop devices leveraging the latest GeneralPurpose Graphics Processing Unit (GPGPU) technologies.

Responsibilities
- Innovate to articulate and solve complex problems
- Design and develop highquality software components that follow industrystandard design patterns development methodologies and deployment models
- Apply and promote good software engineering practices such as test automation modularization simplification
- Work effectively with members of other software development teams in an agile interactive and creative environment
- Find analyse and fix bugs and performance problems whenever and wherever they occur
Requirements
- 1 year of software development experience (recent graduates welcome to apply)
- Fluent in and passionate about modern C (11/14/17/20)
- Knowledge of high performance or parallel algorithms
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
- Existing work authorization for United Kingdom
Recommended Qualifications
- Familiarity with GIS applications and technologies
- Crossplatform development profiling and debugging
- Understanding of scientific spatial and graphics algorithms and software design patterns
- Experience with CUDA Direct3D Metal OpenGL Vulkan WebGL or WebGPU and compute shader programming
- Experience with agile development methodologies (such as Scrum)
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
