Job Description

Internal Business Development Representative (Internal BDR)

Location: Vancouver (Hybrid in office 2 days per week)
Fulltime (40 hrs per week)
Junior level

Are you ready to launch your career in tech sales with a fastmoving team that supports higher education Comm100 is looking for a positive resultsdriven Internal Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales team. Youll be the first point of contact for prospective customers playing a critical role in growing our client base through highvolume outbound calling and lead qualification.

What Youll Do:
  • Make highvolume outbound calls to generate new business opportunities primarily within the higher education vertical
  • Clearly communicate the value of our product and schedule meetings with key decisionmakers
  • Prospect qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales leads through phone email and other channels
  • Collaborate with the sales marketing and product teams to refine messaging and strategy
  • Think on your feet to identify opportunities overcome objections and build longterm relationships
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and conversion metrics

What Were Looking For:
  • 12 years in a BDR SDR Sales or customerfacing role (internships or parttime roles count!)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills especially over the phone and email
  • A positive selfstarting attitude with a no barriers mindset you see only opportunities not obstacles
  • Ability to grasp and articulate the value of SaaS technologies to nontechnical audiences
  • Comfortable using CRM systems Microsoft Office and other sales tools
  • A team player who loves connecting with people and building relationships
