Volunteer Coordinator
Salary: $18.13 $19.31
Position Overview: Join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator and bring comfort and connection to the community through our therapy dog program! Youll manage and grow the Pet Connections volunteer programonboarding new teams coordinating training ensuring all paperwork and screenings are complete and keeping records up to date. Youll match volunteers with opportunities that suit their interests and their dogs unique temperaments while promoting the program to local organizations. Stay engaged with volunteers create schedules track activities and help plan events that make a real impact. Schedule: MF 8am12pm Flexibility in schedule required to meet agency needs.

The Arc Ontario Story:

Responsibilities
- Assist with the scheduling and promotion of Dog training classes to recruit and train new volunteers.
- Ensures that each class is set up in our database so that people can register and pay ensuring payment before confirming registration.
- May assist with the promotion of Pet Connections program up to and including attending community events.
Requirements
- Associates degree and at least 3 years of experience in volunteer coordination or similar administrative positions or an equivalent amount of combined education/experience.
- Valid NYS Drivers License
- Required to work around dogs at times.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with volunteers and stakeholders
