Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Logistics and Facilities Manager for an exciting opportunity located in San Antonio TX.
Job Description and Responsibilities
ESM is looking for a fulltime Logistics and Facilities Manager who demonstrates the following capabilities and satisfies the Minimum Qualifications Clearance and Certification requirements. Employee responsibilities include:
- Monitor and act as the primary staff expert for the functions of maintenance maintenance management and logistical support.
- Manage equipment and facility maintenance schedules facility management and daytoday logistcs operations.
- Review and analyze mission objectives to determine appropriate support required coordinating with internal or external units subordinate units and external entities to ensure adequate provision of facility support supplies equipment and services to meet specific support needs and evaluate proposed plans for impact and support feasibility.
- Establish logistics support procedures to include receipt inventory maintenance issue and accountability of Resource Requirement List (RRL) consumables gear and equipment contract services and deployment of GSA fleet vehicles.
- Develop and maintain historical records and files for turnover upon relief to include overall final report a documented process for future use and lessonslearned as observed and received from all participants.
- Attend meetings relative to these duties as required or requested by Commanding Officer (CO).
- Provide staff support for facilities projects maintenance and warranty administration.
- Coordinate facilities related projects and transportation requirements supporting training mission with AF Civil Engineering and if needed Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and prospective vendors to include:
- Manage and coordinate facility trouble calls and repairs. Coordinate maintenance and selfhelp projects.
- Communicate to and coordinate transportation requirements and services with Headquarters and regional providers.
- Track status of all Government vehicles for overall condition mileage availability of vehicle usage history previously completed maintenance and next planned maintenance.
- Track and ensure vehicle maintenance is conducted on a regular basis for normal wear and tear.
- Schedule vehicle preventive and corrective maintenance to include but not limited to:
- Cleaning exterior and interior
- Checking and adding fluids
- Replacing fluids (oil transmission engine coolant etc.) as required
- Replacing filters (air oil etc.)
- Inspecting or adjusting tire alignment
- Checking and adjusting tire air pressure
- Replacing tires
- Replacing or adjusting lights (headlights taillights etc.) as required
- Replacing windshield wipers
- Replacing serpentine belts
- Charging or replacing batteries
- Inspecting or replacing brakes
- Ensure precheck and postcheck of the vehicles are conducted upon every use of the vehicle.
- Maintain vehicle gas card for all Government vehicles.
- Ensure all drivers of Government vehicles are qualified and licensed.
- Generate usage and maintenance reports to assist in maintaining awareness of the status of all Government vehicles. Reports will include but not be limited to: Equipment assessment metrics reports Program hours reports Repair parts reports Fielding reports Fuel usage reports.

Minimum Training Education and Certifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years experience in logistics and/or facilities management; or a minimum of six (6) years experience in logistics or facilities management preferably in a Navy or Marine Corps environment
- At least two (2) years experience in a supervisory role in logistics and/or facilities management
- Possess a valid state drivers license
Minimum Clearance
- Secret Ability to obtain a Favorable Tier 3 Background Investigation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit stand walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer
