Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated Engineering Assistant to support their production and engineering teams in ensuring smooth manufacturing processes and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data on firstpass yield production line issues and rejected items
- Measure and monitor cycle time of operators to ensure productivity
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist the production team with troubleshooting and rework activities on the production line
- Support the production engineer in implementing and tracking Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Participate in the implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Coordinate with other departments when required as part of routine operations
- Follow approved processes and procedures under the guidance of the Engineer
Requirements:
- NITEC or Diploma in Electrical Electronics Mechatronics Computer Engineering or a related field
- Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new skills quickly
- Strong communication skills and a good team player
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Proficient in MS Office and good at documentation
- Willing to commit to overtime as needed
