The Role: ApprenticeSoftware Engineering
The Team:
You will be an expert contributor and will be a part of the S&P Global engineering team. This team has a broad and expert domain and technical knowledge across all asset classes. The team has diverse experience in technology stacks. All engineering team members provide leadership innovation timely delivery and the ability to articulate business value.
Role Brief:
Full Stack Developer Develop endtoend solutions that prioritize user satisfaction performance and scalability.
- Thorough understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: objectoriented design structured design databases algorithms data structures usability refactoring debugging and configuration management
- Experience in working with Java EE container services for web applications.
- Knowledge of HTML JavaScript React and Java in conjunction with databases.
- Fundamentals of relational database concepts Graphical User Interface and serviceoriented architecture.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2 ECS Load Balancer Security Group Lambda S3 Glue etc.) preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or Engineering is required.
- Demonstrated experience in above mentioned specific technologies relevant to the role.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for learning and staying up to date with industry trends.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive cando attitude.
- Proactive and able to work independently to complete tasks.
