Overview:
As a Senior UX Designer you lead advanced UX and product design effortsrefining design systems improving usability and ensuring accessibility. You guide junior team members and may hold formal leadership roles. While your core strength is UX you also leverage skills from visual design research strategy and content.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Project Work
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams: researchers designers developers and PMs.
- Create compelling usercentered visual design concepts using layout color type and imagery.
- Ensure design alignment with user needs business goals and brand standards.
- Build and maintain UI component systems for consistency and scalability.
- Present design solutions through clear userfocused narratives to stakeholders and clients.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor junior designers in visual hierarchy consistency and prioritization.
- Contribute to studio knowledgesharing and team development.
- May manage direct reports with responsibilities like goal setting and performance reviews.
Core UX & Technical Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in:
- UserCentered Design: Gathering feedback to create userfirst interfaces.
- Heuristic Evaluation: Identifying and solving usability issues.
- Interaction Design: Applying standard patterns for intuitive experiences.
- Design Systems: Creating and implementing scalable design guidelines.
- Usability & Responsive Design: Designing efficient deviceagnostic interfaces.
- Accessibility: Designing with WCAG standards in mind.
- Prototyping & Wireframing: Building functional prototypes to test and refine ideas.
- Information Architecture: Structuring content to support smooth user navigation.
