Job Description

With our Making the Difference strategy were addressing significant changes impacting the banking industry; from changing customer expectations to FinTechs regulatory requirements and digitalisation. INGs future aim is to be the next generation digital bank that provides a customer experience that is clear convenient and seamless.

Were on the hunt for a Process Expert to join our high performing Process Management Team. This role is permanent based in Sydney and an excellent opportunity for an individual to grow their skills and assist in enabling easy uniform and digital processes for the execution of our Making the Difference strategy.

Our Process Management team sets up and improves endtoend customer processes leading projects throughout the bank to create strong foundations for growth and a scalable organisation.

As a Process Expert youll support the initiation and realisation of mapping and seeing through improvements in endtoend customer processes across departments and by doing so have an immediate impact on customer satisfaction. Youll help our Process Experts in delivering the best results for our customers the right service easy and simple. Additionally youll work closely together with other Process Experts but also with all levels within ING from operations to the Management Team.

Using your strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills as well as proven analytical and numerical abilities youll provide project support through applying the right structure while undergoing problem analyses executing these analyses and selecting the right root causes and solutions.

What youll do

  • Support process improvement initiatives along with peer Process Experts and agree on the right process improvement approach (e.g. Process Wash LSS DMAIC Operational Management.
  • Support with the engagement of stakeholders and facilitate workshops.
  • Research and gather data to conduct root cause analysis and conduct statistical analysis.
  • Map processes and customer experience as well as generate options for process solutions.
  • Continuously improve applied methods and identify lessons learned after each project and apply those lessons to the next project.
  • Create sustainable results that the business can continue managing and improving themselves.

What were looking for

  • Previous experience leading or contributing to process improvement projects and initiatives will be essential to this role.
  • Previous experience with process mapping (tools and relevant governance) will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience with analysing and presenting data across the Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with stakeholders from all levels.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and the ability to champion change and achieve lasting results.
