Description
About the Role
GMHBA is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract basis ending on 30th June 2026. This role is a key link between business needs and technical solutions responsible for understanding and improving business processes gathering and analysing requirements and supporting solution design implementation and ongoing improvement across GMHBAs digital ecosystem.
As an IT Business Analyst youll facilitate workshops document business and system processes assess vendor solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Youll collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business and technology teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and deliver value.
Key Responsibilities:
Elicit and document business/technical requirements and user stories
Analyse current systems and recommend improvements
Support solution design change management testing and implementation
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
Promote best practices in business analysis and continuous improvement
What we are looking for:
Strong analytical facilitation and problemsolving skills
Experience working across technology and business teams
Familiarity with solution assessment design documentation and UAT support
Ability to work independently while collaborating with crossfunctional teams

Skills And Experiences
About you
As the ideal candidate youll need to demonstrate the following skill and experience:
Mandatory
Bachelors Degree or equivalent (IT discipline preferred) and/or minimum 3 years working in business analysis or software delivery roles
Excellent communication skills including written verbal and interpersonal
Strong analytical skills with capabilities to elicit and define business requirements and map them to technology solutions
Strong problemsolving skills including rootcause analysis and ability to think laterally
Strong timemanagement and planning skills
Experience with agile software delivery tools and techniques
Experience with process analysis and process documentation
Highly desirable
Business Analyst training/qualifications (such as IIBA certification)
Process improvement methodologies (such as Lean 6 SIGMA)
Experience working in financial services industry and/or Private Health Insurance industry
