Our hotel which features 269 guest rooms is located less than two miles from Reagan National Airport. The Pentagon Metro station is within two blocks and the Pentagon is less than a mile away. Our 2 team members report to the Complex Director of Human Resources.
The ideal candidate holds 1 years in hospitality. Passion for a career in Human Resources with strong administrative skills. Prior HR experience a plus!
Shift Pattern: MondayFriday (9AM5:30PM)
Pay Rate: $23.00$25.00 per hour

What will I be doing
Provides the Human Resources training/education and professional development managers with administrative and clerical support including word processing typing emailing filing dataentry faxing copying corresponding answering telephones processing mail taking notes and/or dictation making travel arrangements and performing other general office duties.
- Greet and assist incoming employees managers or candidates and provide accurate information. Listen and respond to inquiries made by individuals calling or walking into the HR office.
- Supports in onboarding and orientation of new team members
- Assists in the planning and execution of various HR programs and initiatives. Coordinates meetings creates materials and presentations and provides ongoing support and follow up in project timelines.
- Coordinates training initiatives in conjunction with department managers and HR managers by planning training sessions new hire orientations creating communications and tracking participation and feedback.
- Answers questions provides forms or directions to team members. Refers all complex situations to HR Director.
- Provides administrative assistance such as filing paperwork creating distributing and/or posting memos and flyers as assigned. Creates and maintains employee files.
- Assists with the monitoring and follow up on time records meal/break period reports missed punches etc. Works with Finance Department to communicate and resolve any pay discrepancies reported to HR. Acts as the propertys backup payroll processor.
