We are looking for a talentedAccount Manager/Buyerto join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our innovative footwear collections.
As an Account Manager/Buyer you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers serving as their main point of contact. You will collaborate closely with our design team to create commercially viable footwear ranges that align with market trends and customer demands. Your expertise in critical path management communication and market awareness will drive customer satisfaction and sales success.
Sales and Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their business needs maximizing sales opportunities and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Product Development:Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative footwear ranges ensuring timely launches that meet market demands and trends.
Critical Path Management:Oversee and monitor product delivery timelines. Track shipping schedules and inventory flow to ensure accurate stock deliveries.
Communication and Coordination:Facilitate effective communication between customers suppliers and internal teams ensuring all stakeholders are informed about project statuses and deadlines.
Market Awareness:Stay updated on footwear and fashion industry trends to provide insights that enhance product offerings and capitalize on market opportunities.
Team Collaboration:Foster a collaborative team environment actively participating in meetings and contributing positively to team dynamics.
Technical Support:Assist with technical processes related to product fitting and sealing ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout production.
Education:GCSE in Maths and English; Bachelors degree in Fashion Design Business Retail or a related field preferred.
Experience:Minimum of 3 years in account management merchandising or a related role within the footwear or fashion industry.
Technical Proficiency:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel); familiarity with design software is a plus.
Project Management:Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently maintaining a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results.
Negotiation Skills:Excellent negotiation skills with a successful track record in category management and vendor relations.
Analytical Skills:Proficiency in analyzing market data and sales performance metrics to inform strategic decisionmaking.
Strong Communicator:Excellent verbal and written communication skills engaging effectively with individuals at all levels.
Team Player:A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
Proactive and Driven:Selfmotivated resultsoriented with a solutionsfocused approach to challenges.
Adaptability:Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and adept at managing change.
