Job Description
Introduction
We are hiring for a Senior Java Developer for our client based in Cape Town for a fixed term employment contract (hybrid)
Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive Java development experience including frameworks such as Spring Boot Hibernate and other opensource technologies.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts with handson experience in Azure or AWS services.
Expertise in DevOps methodologies CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD).
Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration including Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with legacy application maintenance and modernization strategies.
Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
Proficiency in team collaboration fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certifications or equivalent experience in cloudnative solutions.
Experience with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
Strong problemsolving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience in multitenancy architectures and highscale distributed systems.
Background in healthtech or SaaS platforms is a plus.
