Job Description
IT Operations Management
- Oversee IT operations across all Control Rooms and administrative sites.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Standardize IT procedures and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Coordinate with Group IT to align strategies and operations.
Infrastructure & Network Security
- Manage and maintain networks servers and core IT infrastructure.
- Ensure robust network security practices including firewalls and endpoint protection.
- Oversee infrastructure uptime stability and scalability.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits and disaster recovery simulations.
Support Services & Escalation Management
- Oversee enduser IT support for Control Room personnel.
- Handle Tier 3 support escalations for control centres.
- Document support processes incidents and solutions.
- Manage a dedicated Support Technician or contractor for firstlevel support.
- Design and manage an oncall rotation for support.
Research Innovation & Development
- Identify emerging technologies to enhance Control Room capabilities.
- Drive ProofofConcept (POC) initiatives from proposal to implementation.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on new tech deployments.
- Lead technical rollouts across national sites ensuring scalability and training.
- Support business development with technology strategies.
