A Brief Overview
Under general supervision resolves more complex patient accounts
What you will do
- Insurance Claims Follow Up reviews more complex system work queues insurance contracts and other reports to identify thirdparty (insurance) accounts receivable balances and collect expected amounts due.
- Meets production and quality requirements
- Provides excellent customer service
- Completes annual mandatory educational requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED Required
Experience Qualifications
- At least three (3) years experience in Healthcare Collections Required
- At least four (4) years in Healthcare Collections Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent attention to detail organized and computer skills professionalism.
- Good working knowledge of third party insurance and public assistance programs.
