POSITION: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) FullTime (Monday Friday 9:00am 5:30pm)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse the Hospice LVN provides skilled nursing and palliative care to hospice patients. The LVN works closely with the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team delivering intermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care. Responsibilities include pain management symptom control patient and caregiver education and support with the development and implementation of the care plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing

  • Current CA LVN License

  • Minimum of one year of LVN/LPN experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Valid drivers license reliable transportation and auto insurance
