Summary:
As an Intern in the Dolby Consumer Entertainment QA group you will learn to anylyse and assure quality of products which enables next generation of Dolby technologies for future of living room solution. Working most of the time in the dedicated highend Interoperability Lab you will design plan and execute tests of technologies to be used in the next generation lines of Home Theater products TV set and settopboxes to enable high quality audio and videoexperience for hundreds of millions of customers around the world.
Qualitifactions:
- Interest in acoustics sound engineering maths physicseletrical engineering or computer science
- Good English spoken and written communication
- Interest in audio/video and working in hardware
- Interest in web development (React JS) will be an advantage
- Experience with Python will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Setup configure and maintain audio and software test lab and test enviroments.
- Create and maintain QA environment as well as execute tests.
- Analyze test results to ensure that the product functions per requirements.
- Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to help isolate debug and resolve issues/bugs.
- Stay abreast of industry SQA tools and best practices.
