Sun Originals is a brand new video production studio making premium series for The Sun Sun Sport and Fabulous brands. Creating developing and producing a slate of brand new original shows the team are helping The Sun reach its next generation of viewers.
Your Role:
As an Assistant Producer creating videos for our womens lifestyle channel Fabulous you will help make compelling video content that informs and engages audiences. You will be working with a Producer to develop cast film and produce high quality video for various digital platforms.
The role entails developing digital first ideas casting location finding dealing with contributors and onscreen talent as well as selfop filming on location or in a studio across a range of formats for YouTube and other platforms.
As an additional task the Assistant Producer will manage our digital accounts driving engagement on a daily basis so an advantage to have Influencer skills too.
Day to day you will:
Scout and secure locations suitable for filming ensuring they align with creative briefs.
Cast contributors and onscreen talent working closely with the Producer to ensure the content is engaging and relevant.
Selfoperate filming equipment on location or in studio settings to produce highquality video content.
Collaborate with the Producer to develop returnable long form format ideas for our digital YouTube channel Fabulous. Also to help develop short form ideas for other social media platforms such as Snap and Tik Tok that deliver on time and to budget.
Handle logistics and liaise with contributors and talent to ensure smooth production schedules.
Ensure the final videos meet brand and editorial standards reflecting Fabulouss tone and voice.
What we are looking for from you:
Experience of working on original entertainmentrelated content for YouTube or other digital platforms and selfop filming experience is essential.
Strong selfoperating filming skills with the ability to work independently on location or in a studio.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A creative mindset with the ability to generate ideas and contribute to the development of engaging video formats.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with contributors talent and team members.
A passion for womens lifestyle content and a strong understanding of the Fabulous audience.
Experience in running a social media channel to drive engagement.
