Job Description

Join Amazon Australia as a Senior Category Merchant Manager (Fashion) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our 3rd party marketplace. You will manage business growth and lead highvisibility projects across various Amazon teams making a significant impact on our marketplaces success.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and have a demonstrated track record of successful project management/ownership juggling multiple projects with competing deadlines and using data to identify and prioritize opportunities. The ideal candidate is analytical enthusiastic selfmotivated detailoriented customerfocused and has strong writing skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and influence employees at all levels of the organisation.

This position requires fulltime inoffice presence 5 days per week at our CBD location.

Key job responsibilities
* Develop and execute category strategy in collaboration with leadership focusing on unit and revenue growth.
* Work with Marketplace teams to recruit strategic sellers and expand category selection.
* Enhance seller experience through improved selfservice and reporting resources.
* Partner with technology teams to launch new features and drive automation and scalability.
* Collaborate with Listings and Fulfilment PMs to promote key feature adoption among sellers.

A day in the life
In this role you will focus on strategic initiatives to enhance our marketplace. Your day will involve collaborating with leadership to develop business strategies working with Marketplace teams to recruit strategic sellers and improving the overall seller experience. You will also partner with technology teams to launch new features and drive automation and scalability.

About the team
You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to growing our 3rd party marketplace. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional customer and seller experiences. Together we strive to innovate and scale our marketplace ensuring it remains a top choice for sellers and customers alike.

Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Bachelors degree or equivalent

5 years of B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business experience
Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience
Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed largescale technology deal
