Baker Automotive Group has a unique opportunity for the right candidate wanting to start their career with an automotive dealership group. We are looking for a Service Porter at our beautiful Buick GMC dealership in Hudsonville MI. This is a fulltime hourly paid position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary person responsible for keeping service vehicles in their right place. Moving vehicles from the service lane to staging. Getting vehicles into and out of bays for service. Bringing vehicles to the service delivery area for guest pickup.
- Keep service lane and shared shop areas clean organized and free of debris.
- Assist the department with errands such as scrap disposal parts pickup supply runs etc.
- Assist with guest pickup and delivery as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
- MF Day Shift
- No Saturdays
Skills & Qualifications:
- From big to small you take pride in everything you do
- You enjoy being part of a team
- Comfortable with guest interaction
- Able to work on your feet and lift up to 25lbs
- Must be able to pass preemployment screens (Background & Drug & MVR)
- A current valid drivers license and insurability rating is required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
