This Administrative Coordinator position is for a vacancy located in our Mandeville Behavioral Health Clinic in Mandeville Louisiana. Please see the Examples of Work below for additional information on this position.
This position may be filled as a Probational Appointment.Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months and 24 months.

Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicants level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range(s) for the position(s):

An additional premium pay of $1.00/hour may be applied hour for hour working in direct patient care.

Function of Work:
To perform a wide variety of clerical duties that requires independent judgment to accomplish in support of the staff members and/or operations of an organizational unit or program.
Some discretion is required in the performance of these duties. Duties begin to expand in scope and complexity and develop into departmentalprogram duties.
Level of Work:
Advanced.
Supervision Received:
General from higherlevel clerical and/or supervisory personnel.
Supervision Exercised:
May supervise 12 lowerlevel personnel.
Location of Work:
May be used by all state agencies.
Job Distinctions:
Differs from Administrative Coordinator 2 by the presence of responsibility for clerical duties that involve greater scope and complexity including initial program duties.
Differs from Administrative Coordinator 4 by the absence of paraprofessional duties that involve a higher degree of specialization complexity and/or independent judgment.
This positionis part of the frontoffice staff andprovides clerical support to the Mandeville Behavioral Health Clinicand its employees. This supportmayinclude a variety of clerical dutiessuch as: answering multiline telephones routing phone calls to the appropriate staff or taking detailed messages greeting clients notifying staff of client arrivals conducting checkin and checkout procedures for clients verifying insurance coveragecontacting clients with appointment reminders and processing faxes received. Additionally this position may also enter information into the electronic health record (EHR) as well asmaintaina supply of the necessary packets for both clients with scheduled appointments and walkins.
