Job Description

Programs and maintains robotic cells by assisting in all phases of robotic design development production testing and operations.Role and Responsibilities
- Provide input for fixture design on new and existing programs.
- Assist with the sourcing of equipment parts supplies and technical support
- Develops and maintains the layout of work cells
- Establish production/process standards
- Establish and monitor maintenance schedules
- Write and update specific work instructions for Robotic cells.
- Train personnel on equipment and processes.
- Maintain robots mechanical or electronic equipment and PLCs.
- Analyze robotic problems and help with root cause analysis and corrective measures
- Provide feedback for longterm machine use/efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements and modifications to ensure the greatest efficiency in the manufacturing environment with safety and productivity as a priority
- Safely use forklifts and other equipment needed for the job task.
- Observe all established safety rules and regulations including Lock Out Tag Out requirements and maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent technical experience required
- Minimum of 2 years mechanical experience
- Experience in electronics (including PLCs) required
- Experience in Mechanical Hydraulics Pneumatics and Reading blueprints/schematics required
- Exposure to/experience with CAD programs preferred
- Experience in the plastics industry is preferred
- Experience using a forklift preferred
- Must obtain and maintain a valid forklift license to hold the position
- All required WilbertU Courses based on job title
Pay Range:
