ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop API test cases and scenariosExecute and automate API tests using industrystandard toolsIdentify document and track bugs and performance issuesCollaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve defectsEnsure APIs meet functional and nonfunctional requirementsAnalyze and report on test results providing actionable insightsContinuously improve testing processes and methodologiesParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback on API designQualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related fieldProven experience in API testing with a strong understanding of testing methodologiesFamiliarity with RESTful services and SOAPKnowledge of API testing tools like Postman SoapUI or equivalentStrong analytical and problemsolving skillsExcellent collaboration and communication abilitiesAttention to detail and a passion for quality assurance
