Project Manager Environment (Scotland)
Location: East of Scotland (from Fife to Aberdeen)

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manger to join the team at Galliford Try in the East of Scotland

Join one of the UKs leading construction groups as we deliver transformative infrastructure projects across Scotland. Were looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead shortterm environmental projects (up to 250K in value) across the East of Scotland. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the communities you servewhile playing a key role in one of the countrys most ambitious infrastructure programmes.

What Youll Be Doing

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple civil/environmental projects ensuring work is completed safely on time and within budget.
  • Oversee project performance across health & safety quality financials and environmental compliance.
  • Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors driving high performance and continuous development.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders ensuring satisfaction and alignment with agreed KPIs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure full compliance with RAMS and environmental legislation.
  • Work handson with the senior leadership team to help grow and develop our inhouse delivery capability.

About you:

Were seeking someone who is not only technically strong but also passionate about environmental infrastructure and improving the communities we serve.

  • A relevant ONC/HNC/BEng or NVQlevel qualification in construction civil engineering or a related field
  • SMSTS (CITB 5day Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS card and relevant H&S certification (e.g. IOSH)
  • Experience in water wastewater or civil infrastructure is advantageous
  • Strong IT skills particularly with Microsoft Project and Office
  • A proactive collaborative approach with a track record of leading teams to success
