The role

What will you be doing

Training and Service Experience Manager
Basingstoke or Dorking (with frequent travel to Basingstoke)
Hybrid minimum of 23 days per week in office
12 months Fixed term Contract

What will you bring

Unum UK is hiring a Training and Service Experience Manager on a 12month Fixed Term Contract. In this role you will be responsible for managing the operational training and development to meet the current and future needs of the department. You will apply creative and innovative solutions to the training and development to support improved service experience.

In this pivotal role your ability to build strong relationships will be key in creating a high performing team. This will include the recruitment and onboarding of all Group Policy Servicing Specialists attracting and retaining the highest calibre of talent. This role will position individuals to deliver a premium broker experience ensuring performance targets and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development review and maintenance of the Training and Competency framework.
  • Develop an endtoend strategy that will support new starters become proficient in line with expectations and contribute to employee engagement and empowerment to deliver for our brokers and customers.
  • Lead develop and drive service experience within Group Policy Servicing.
  • Manage individual and team performance to ensure that the team are capable and competent.
  • Work to translate customer feedback into training and development solutions and continually review the effectiveness of the training delivered reporting on results and making the appropriate recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Good leadership and management skills with the ability to lead motivate and develop a team of individuals to achieve success.
  • Experience of understanding a customer service operation with a strong service culture.
  • Proven ability to conduct training needs analysis.
  • Strong experience of coaching and developing individuals to achieve performance goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and influence at all levels.
