Job Description
Leidos is seeking an experienced resultsoriented Data Engineer or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda Maryland area. You will play a critical role in shaping our clients IT enterprise architecture by establishing and maintaining a data analytic environment. Your responsibilities will span multiple areas including strategic planning data analysis and data compliance to enhance our customers analytic practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Enterprise Architecture: Contribute to the design and evolution of our clients enterprise cloud and data architecture ensuring interoperability security and alignment with business goals. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop data strategies that consider longterm implications anticipating future needs and trends. Decompose complex problems and develop an analytic approach.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive data integration initiatives and foster a datadriven culture.
- Compliance: Analyze current practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- DataDriven Analysis: Establish and administer a data analytic environment. Analyze the current data structure tagging and quality standards to discover and address anomalies.
Basic Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
- BS degree and 8 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Systems Engineer with a focus on complex data environments.
- Experience with data science tools and languages such as Python R or Scala in various data science environments.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau MS PowerBI) to deliver data analysis solutions and visualizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in or have a strong understanding of project management.
- Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Statistics Data Science).
- Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Cloudbased data science experience.
- Experience producing executivelevel products.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104650.00 $189175.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
