Job Description
Role: Open Source Software Engineer
Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
Location: Lansing MI 48933 Hybrid
Local candidates only
Prior state experience is preferred
Must Have:
Must have verifiable experience with Red Hat OpenShift container platform and familiarity with Kubernetes. Experience with application deployment within containers. (3 years)
3 years of experience installing and supporting Apache Kafka.
4 years of experience installing and configuring opensource SQL databases such as Presto DB or PostgreSQL. Experience troubleshooting database connections performing backups and developing basic queries.
2 years of experience working with webbased applications consuming APIs and writing scripts to validate data.
Nice to have: Familiarity with shell scripting and crontab
