Job Description

Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Experience Level: 6 years
Location: Remote offshore open to candidates from South Africa and/or LATAM
Type: FullTime

Now we re looking for a handson strategic CMO who can lead with data execute with precision and think like a founder.
About the Role
This is not a brandonly leadership role. It s for someone who still enjoys getting their hands dirty who thinks in experiments who s ready to own both the strategy and the results. You ll have full responsibility for our marketing function from paid growth to brand development from testing to teambuilding. And you ll work alongside a technical founder who speaks your language: data iteration and learning through doing.
We want a leader who s energized by the unknown skilled at connecting dots across channels and committed to building systems that grow with the company.What You ll Do

  • Define and own our fullfunnel marketing strategy across performance brand content influencer email and retention
  • Execute paid campaigns across Facebook Google TikTok etc. while building the internal structure to scale
  • Run a testandlearn growth engine experiment with everything from offer structure to messaging to new verticals
  • Lead strategic planning budgeting and forecasting for all marketing activity
  • Track analyze and report on key metrics (CAC ROAS LTV revenue) and act decisively based on insights
  • Explore and validate new marketing channels (affiliate SEO organic social influencers) you call the shots and own the outcomes
  • Build and manage a highperforming internal team and/or agencies over time
  • Partner with product engineering and creative to bring customer insights into everything we launch
  • Own brand positioning creative direction and the endtoend customer journey
Who You Are
  • 6 years of marketing/growth experience ideally in consumer goods or ecommerce
    • Extra bonus points if you ve worked with D2C packaged goods
  • A handson CMO or Head of Growth who has directly contributed to revenue growth and can prove it with metrics
  • Obsessed with data insights and experimentation you measure everything and act fast on what you learn
  • Deep understanding of fullfunnel growth and the nuances of D2C marketing
  • A creative thinker who also thrives in structure and systems
  • Strategic thinker with excellent chops you dont just set the vision you ship the work
  • Bonus: Background in gaming media or entertainment
  • Nice to have (but not required): Interest or experience in the video game industry
