We are seeking an LGTM engineer with expertise in Grafana Prometheus and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate should have experience with data source integration alerting and automation using scripting languages. Knowledge of GitHub Actions Argo CD and Loki is essential. Industry experience in observability and performance optimization is required. Strong English communication skills and a proactive agile mindset are a must.
Tasks
Technical Expertise
- Grafana Proficiency
- Dashboard Creation: Ability to design and implement complex dashboards that visualize metrics and logs effectively.
- Data Sources Integration: Experience in integrating various data sources (Prometheus Elasticsearch InfluxDB etc.) with Grafana.
- Alerting and Notifications: Proficiency in setting up alerts and notifications based on specific thresholds and conditions.
- Prometheus: Knowledge of setting up and managing Prometheus for metrics collection.
- PagerDuty knowledge
- GitHub knowledge with GitHub actions
- CD tools (Argo)
- K8s experience Javascript/Java/Shell
- Loki: Familiarity with log aggregation and querying using Loki
Good to have
- Knowledge of authentication methods e.g. OIDC Okta
- DNS resolution TCP SSL handshake TLS HTTPS protocols
- Terraforming
- Dashboards e.g. Loki
- JMeter Prometheus knowledge are good to have
Certifications
- Certifications in Grafana Prometheus or other observability tools can be a plus.
Practical Skills
- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash etc.) for automation tasks.
- Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Terraform or similar.
Requirements
Experience
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in roles focused on observability monitoring and performance optimization.
- Project Experience: Handson experience with projects involving largescale monitoring and observability setups.
Benefits
Remuneration between 38 Euro to 45 Euro per hour as a freelance pending on the experience long project continuity supportive team environment
