Job Description

Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday overtime as needed

Overview:
Sales & Procurement Specialist plays a key role in daytoday vendor communication procurement activities inventory oversight and sales support. You’ll be working crossfunctionally to keep our supply chain running smoothly while supporting our customerfacing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Support

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding quotes orders pricing and lead times
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining blanket purchase agreements
  • Review and analyze vendor quotes pricing and delivery schedules
  • Process purchase orders and track delivery status
  • Maintain vendor records assist with vendor evaluations and report ontime delivery and quality metrics to key vendors

Inventory Management

  • Perform as the driver for implementing and managing a digital inventory system.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counting processes
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory data
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with reordering processes
  • Support efforts to improve inventory accuracy and streamline processes

Sales Support

  • Assist the sales and customer service team with order status updates and product availability
  • Help prepare quotes and pricing sheets for customers
  • Coordinate with production and logistics to meet customer delivery expectations

Administrative & CrossFunctional Support

  • Maintain procurement and inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems
  • Collaborate with internal departments (production shipping customer service) to ensure inventory availability and timely procurement
  • Assist with additional purchasing and customer service tasks as needed
  • Comply with applicable environmental health and safety laws and regulations Company policy and accepted safe work practices.
  • Work with Receiving Quality Engineering and Accounting to resolve discrepancies and issues.
  • Follow all department and QMS policies producers and applicable work instructions

Qualifications:

  • College Degree Preferred in: Business Administration Supply Chain Management Finance Economics Logistics or Operations Management.
  • Prior experience in procurement supply chain or inventory management preferred
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP/MRP systems a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required
  • Overtime hours may be required if needed
