Senior Network Engineer
Location: Fairfax Virginia
Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly

Job Description:
Be part of a small but highperforming seniorlevel networks team responsible for architecting designing installing implementing and maintaining a large multiagency missionessential network infrastructure with strict security fault tolerance and latency requirements. This role involves work at the rack level within data centers and across transport layers. The team supports multiple programs with shared agency requirements and presents consistent technical challenges tied to evolving mission needs. Work is primarily onsite at the customer location with some travel required including potential international travel. This position offers strong opportunities for leadership within areas of expertise and supporting responsibilities across others.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in network engineering design implementation and maintenance.
Proficiency with Juniper (preferred) and/or Cisco networking devices.
Certifications with Juniper (preferred) and/or Cisco networking devices.
Proficiency with network protocols including TCP/IP IPv4 UDP (and multicast) TLS VPLS GRE.
Experience configuring maintaining or troubleshooting:
Routing Protocols such as OSPF EIGRP and BGP.
EVPN over BGP/VXLAN or MPLS/VXLAN
Multicast STP VLANs and trunking
LAN and/or WAN
Network security including firewall and ACL
Security or CISSP certification.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
Desired Skills:
Juniper certifications (JNCIA JNCIS JNCIP JNCIE).
Cisco certifications (CCNA CCNP).
Experience working collaboratively within highperformance teams.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
Experience networking with Linux or BSD systems including system administration.
Multicast protocol experience.
Ability to own engineering solutions and present network designs to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Education:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Computer Science or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
