Job Description
Title: Network Engineer
Location: Manassas VA
Clearance: Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain a clearance)
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship

Salary: $110000 to $120000
Summary: Craig Technologies has an opening for a Network Engineer supporting the work on the Submarine Command Control Communication Computers Cyber-Defense & Intelligence contract supporting Systems Engineering & Intelligence. This work is located onsite in Manassas Virginia and has a normal 9-10 work schedule. Ability to obtain a secret clearance is a requirement for this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Integration experience for a variety of network protocol standards
Experience analyzing VLANs spanning-tree routing (static and dynamically implemented protocols) ACLs IP addressing and subnetting
Knowledge of packet analysis tools such as Wireshark or Sniffers.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with 3 years of professional experience.
Strong communication skills and experience verbal and written.
Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance must be a U.S. Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Network development and integration experience for a variety of network protocol standards including TCP/IP HSRP/VRRP RIP OSPF BGP RSTP (802.1w) MSTP (802.1s) DHCP 802.1q tagging multicast PAgP or LACP (EtherChannel) QoS and Active-Active technologies (vPC and IRF)
