Job Description

HOW YOU WILL  MAKE AN IMPACT

Manufacturing Associates operate machines that manufacture electronic printed circuit boards for automotive radar detection. Our radar detection products alert drivers to take action when necessary to help save lives everyday.


Operate production equipment and processes
Follow established safety production and quality procedures
Participate in the teams daily startup communications meeting assigns work and establishes job rotation
Maintain personal training documentation/status including any onthejob training
Follow defined Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and provide input for improvement
Perform workstation audits and inspections and followup on abnormalities
Ensure individual compliance for all established policies and procedures
Determine and react if operating conditions become abnormal
Perform complete preventative maintenance routines utilizing established checklists designed to return the equipment to the original state (training provided)
Actively preserve normal conditions of equipment and/or processes
Perform first response troubleshooting and minor first line maintenance activities during line down situations.
Ensure team achieves daily 5S1 Quality Delivery Kaizen and Cost goals
Employ various problemsolving techniques (5 Why 8 D Cause and Effect and Fishbone Diagrams etc.) to drive problems to permanent corrective action
Participate in teams Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement within the work cell

THE ENVIRONMENT

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as ESD Composite Toe Shoes Smocks and other PPE as required.
  • This role is within a climatecontrolled facility where you will be exposed to robot and pedestrian traffic and noise. 
  • The role involves various physical tasks including lifting and operating machinery with comprehensive training provided.

SCHEDULE:

  • 4 days on 4 days off
  • Day Shift: 8:00am6:30pm

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age
02 years of manufacturing or logistics experience 

Must be able to read write & speak English

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening

3 years of manufacturing or logistics experience
Experience operating machinery

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours 
Must be able to Push Pull Reach Twist Turn Stoop Walk Stand for up to10 hours
