Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Laboratory team. This position plays a vital role in delivering safe high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate brings clinical experience in either a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care unit and is proficient with both EPIC EMR and GE Maclab systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular lab for adult and geriatric populations
- Continuously monitor patient condition and document physiologic/hemodynamic data during procedures
- Assist physicians with cardiovascular procedures and communicate changes in patient status promptly
- Ensure procedure room readiness including equipment checks and inventory management
- Obtain and prepare necessary supplies and instruments for each case
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital safety standards and infection control protocols
- Actively participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in CA Required
- Current BCLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) Required upon hire and must remain current
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care Required
- Experience with EPIC EMR Required
- Experience with GE Maclab Required
